Interview with hip hop artist Vernon Little
This week in our talented artists interview section we had a conversation with Vernon Little. He has recently released The Chance to Tell You from EP “Double Minded”. So our conversation will have special focus on that.
Pro Media Mag : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Vernon Little : My name is Vernon Little. I’m a Rap/Gospel Rap artist from the Bronx, N.Y.
Pro Media Mag : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Vernon Little : My friend and former DJ – Joe Stick was the first one to invite me to rap. His friend Jack introduced us to a guy name Pete who was interested in recording a rap group. Pete was the first one to take us to a recording studio, and he became our manager.
Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your recently released track ‘The Chance To Tell You‘?
Vernon Little : This track is basically about the long wait to get discovered and be heard. A lot of people in society are looking for a platform to be heard on. Social media is a start for most folks.
Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your EP “Double Minded” ?
Vernon Little : I thinks it’s a fusion of rap, gospel, and r&b. The title track is gospel rap. The Chance To Tell You is inspirational. One Day At A Time is encouraging, and I Love Hip Hop is an ode to hip hop/rap music.
Pro Media Mag : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Vernon Little : It’s been well received so far. Double Minded and The Chance To Tell You are the favorites.
Pro Media Mag : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Vernon Little : Performing on stage.
Pro Media Mag : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Vernon Little : Yes. I’d love to achieve gold status at some point. I’m also interested in acting. My biggest goal is to encourage and inspire people.
Pro Media Mag : Are you working on any other project?
Vernon Little : Yes. I’d like to release another EP, or full LP next year.
