Sherel Ames : Hello, My name is Sherel Ames. I am a writer/director/producer.
Pro Media Mag : What inspired you the start the web series ‘Fight For The Family’?
Sherel Ames : After watching the demise of families in my church (many who are friends of mine) over issures that could have been handled differently to save the family I decided to write scripts that would address family issues and show from a different perspective the answer.
Pro Media Mag : How was your experience with the series as a producer?
Sherel Ames : It was awesome. I have met and worked with some of the best talent and have formed a family unit with cast and crew.
Pro Media Mag : What kind of response it has received so far?
Sherel Ames : The web series has received great comments from the audience. I get excited every time I read them. There is a class at a school here that watched the web series as a class project. Their feed back was priceless! It let me see that I am on the right track.
Pro Media Mag : Casting this must have been stressful, because your story is about taking characters to surprising and sometimes really challenging emotional and psychological places?
Sherel Ames : No it wasn’t stressful, it was exciting. The cast is amazing.
Pro Media Mag : What is the goal you want to achieve through this web series?
Sherel Ames : My goal is to help families build close family relationships with each other.
