The Busy Mom’s Guide to at Home Teeth Whitening
Are you one of the millions of busy mom’s who is always on the go? Do you feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done? We have all been there, trust me. I have a two-month old daughter, and I feel as though I need eight hands just to get through the day.
It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed at times as a mother. Between taking care of a baby to getting everything done around the house to getting back to your job, your days and weeks can feel like a whirlwind. Being a mother is so much more than a full time job, it takes up every waking and (what should be) sleeping hour. Being so wrapped up and focused on all of our children’s needs, it’s easy to neglect our own needs.
Many mothers have the typical busy mom look: a messy bun or scraped back pony tail, stained shirt and whatever pants they could find without stains. (There’s no judgment here, I promise.) I was a huge fan of the messy bun long before I became a mother. But as mothers, we shouldn’t neglect our needs and appearance as well.
You can choose many ways to make yourself look and feel better. You can go to a salon and get your hair cut into a new, easy to maintain hair style. You can get a manicure and pedicure. Or you can go shopping for some new clothes to make you feel good about yourself. Another option is to get your teeth whitened.
Whitening your teeth not only make you look better, it can make you feel better about yourself as well. When you have a properly maintained and white smile, you will feel good about your appearance and smile. You’ll be able to make a great first impression. Having a whiter smile can make you feel more self-assured and confident.
If you’re thinking that you have to go to a dentist to get your teeth whitened (which just sounds like another thing to add to your never ending to do list), don’t worry! You can whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home, or on the go.
The good thing is that there are also so many different options to choose from. You can choose from gels, strips, trays, mouthwashes and toothpastes. There are also some that are designed for sensitive teeth. A lot of brands also make some products for teeth that are severely stained or discolored.
The great thing about choosing an at home whitening kit is that you can do it on your own time. You can place the whitening gel tray in your mouth and do the laundry or run other errands that need to be done. Or you can place the whitening strips on your teeth and cook dinner or clean up around the house. It is probably the best choice for busy moms, you can accomplish other things on your to do list while you whiten your teeth!
