Pro Media Mag : Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Mandy Nembs : I’m Mandy Nembs and I run several luxury hair extension brands.

Pro Media Mag : Who or what inspired you to get into this profession?
Mandy Nembs :  During the early years of my life, I cut off my doll’s hair. I quickly realized it wasn’t growing back. I was disappointed and felt helpless. I wondered if gluing it back would work. I didn’t Pursue such an endeavor then but I’m doing it now as an adult. I’ve always been fascinated by the concept of hair integration and what it does for the consumer.

Pro Media Mag : What helped you develop your skills of hair extension?
Mandy Nembs : Lots of training, practicing and studying other people’s work.

Pro Media Mag : You have been training people around the world. It seems you are on a mission to transfer your knowledge to as many people as possible?
Mandy Nembs :  Strand by strand extensions are still a foreign concept to people who do more traditional / popular hair extension methods. My goal is to spread the knowledge of new hair extension techniques that are beneficial to both stylists and consumers. By doing strand by strand extensions stylists can earn more and consumers can enjoy having undetectable extensions.

Pro Media Mag : What inspired you to start ‘Onesa Hair Brand’?
Mandy Nembs : Onesa was a concept that came to mind many years ago. Being in New York City gave me that final push I needed. I found myself in a city that had women from all walks of life and different races complaining about how difficult it was to get hair that matched their hair texture and color.

Pro Media Mag : What makes your brand different from others?
Mandy Nembs : Onesa hair gives the consumer the ability to get custom made hair extensions. Most brands have very specific colors and hair. If a customer of ours requires curly grey hair for fusion or clip on application methods, we deliver.

Pro Media Mag : Onesa Hair focuses on some customer range?
Mandy Nembs : We cater to all ages and races.

Pro Media Mag : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Mandy Nembs : We aim to be the in-house brand for a lot more hair salons and stylists.
