A conversation with multi-talented artist Suneé Waller

We are sharing our recent interview with actor, model and music artist Suneé Waller.

Suneé Waller

Pro Media Mag : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Suneé Waller : My name is Suneé Waller. I’m an all around entertainer from the Philadelphia area.

Pro Media Mag : Who or what inspired you to get into this industry?
Suneé Waller : I’ve always been a pretty shy person except when it came time to showcase my talents. I love being in front of the camera whether I’m acting, modeling or singing. I enjoy entertaining others in many different forms, whether it’s making them laugh based on a character or expressing my creativity and inspiring them through photos.

Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your recent release project?
Suneé Waller : Most recently, I enjoyed being in a singing competition titled Spotlight under the El, it will be aired soon. I really appreciate the experience because I learned so much during the process. The vocal coach that was provided to us, Andrew Rohe was amazing and I learned many techniques and exercises from him. Also, the other singers were amazing and I was thrilled to be able to meet such talented and amazing young women, all from Philadelphia as well.
A major project that I am promoting right now because tickets are on sale at addyvilleproductions.com are for a feature film called FON (Freaks of Nature). The big Red Carpet Premiere is less than 2 months away!

Pro Media Mag : How about your entry into the music?
Suneé Waller : I’ve written music for years but never did anything with it out of fear. Acting and modeling allowed me to break into the entertainment industry fearlessly. I’m still working on my confidence and nerves with singing, however, I’ve come far from where I started with it. I’ve collaborated with Carlin or Game from Busy Works Beats on a number of different projects and tutorials. That has allowed me the creative freedom and comfortability to enter into music in which I actually just join him and his team at the studio while they’re working on a beat and while I’m there, I just start writing. Next thing I know, I’m in the booth recording what I just wrote.

Pro Media Mag : Modeling or acting, What do you enjoy more?
Suneé Waller : I believe modeling and acting go hand in hand for me. While I’m acting, I’m still modeling and making sure I’m giving the right angles. Also, while I’m modeling, sometimes I’m taking on a character still. For instance, if I’m modeling jewelry, I’m still acting because in real life, I’m not really a jewelry person. But I have to give that impression that I love the jewelry I’m modeling. Don’t get me wrong, some jewelry, whether you are a jewelry person or not is just stunning and I appreciate it for what it’s worth but that doesn’t negate the fact that some days I wake up and leave the house and forget all about accessories lol. I love acting and modeling both and couldn’t choose 1 over the other. I am an overall entertainer and I love to do all aspects of entertaining.

Pro Media Mag : What’s the best part of being an artist?
Suneé Waller : The best part of being an artist is being able to do what you love everyday. When I’m on set, I am happy and it’s the best feeling in the world. I wouldn’t trade it for anything and I appreciate every time I’m given the opportunity to do something that I truly love.

Pro Media Mag : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Suneé Waller : I make a vision board every year and that alone gives me a list of personal, business, and financial goals for the entire year. So yes, I set many goals for myself.

Pro Media Mag : Are you working on any new project?
Suneé Waller : As of right now, I am not working on a project, however, I am working on a new business venture that I’ve always wanted to look into but never had the guts to just take the risk. With all of the confidence that working in the entertainment industry has given me, I’ve applied that to other aspects of my life as well. I truly believe that if there is no risk, there is no reward. I am just doing what I think is best for me and trying to enjoy the process while on the journey!
